It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single girl must be in possession of a book.

Review Policy

To authors and publishing houses:

I review books on my own terms. I read historical fiction, young adult, dystopian, Christian lit, and chick lit. I especially do not read historical nonfiction, biographies, autobiographies, or horror stories, so please do not ask me to review any of these genres.

My acceptance of a review copy does not guarantee that I will review the novel or that my review will be positive. I only expect print books, including ARCs, although I will consider reviewing audiobooks. Occasionally I will accept ebooks in PDF file, but I cannot guarantee that I will read or review an ebook.

What I post on this blog is mine and mine alone. No one elses. That is an absolute. They reflect only my honest opinions. If I love a book, I will tell you. If I hate it, I probably won't tell you, unless it's a funny/stupid novel that I want to tell you how funny/stupid it is. I will try not to agree to review anything I don't think I will like.

I do not condone the reprinting of anything I post on my blog or any of my ideas that I post. I welcome all fellow book lovers as followers, but grunge guys should stay away. I don't guarantee a time frame for reviewing books, but typically it will be within the three months after I recieve it for audio and print books. Ebooks take me longer to read, and thus longer to review and I cannot guarantee reviews of ebooks.. I post reviews on this blog as well as on GoodReads.

This is my review policy. If you've read the whole thing, you can contact me at

Thank you.
