Review
I really love Come Back Be Here. It has a really catchy melody and tempo. It moves very well, not too fast or too slow. I love the chorus because it is so catchy and easy to sing along to. It's not just another sad slow song, but it is still a love song.
I like it because while Taylor is longing for her boy, she is also moving on because she realizes she has to live without him. It's hard for her, because she misses him so much. I really like the lines "This is falling in love in the cruelest way, this is falling for you when you are worlds away" because it sums up the song so perfectly in just a few lines. She misses him but can't be with him. She has to learn how to live without him until the day he comes back. I like to believe that the boy Taylor sings about will come back.
Come Back Be Here is one of my favorite songs on Taylor's album Red. It's just overall a really nice song and Taylor's voice isn't so pop-ish like in some her other songs, like We Are Never Getting Back Together. It's a good pop-country mix song, and I really tend to favor songs of hers that are in the middle (even though I love her older more country-ish songs) Taylor is definitely headed more toward the pop genre and I will be doing some more song reviews in the coming weeks.
