So knowing how I do impulsive things, this is one of them. But I'm excited for it! I just found out about it a few days ago via twitter. It's the Literary Blog Hop hosted at http://leeswammes.wordpress.com. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this before, because it totally seems like something I would participate in.
So here are the books I'm going to give away. I made sure they were books of great literary significance!
Here's the summary for Kim by Rudyard Kipling:
Kimball O’Hara grows up an orphan in the walled city of Lahore, India. Deeply devoted to an old Tibetan lama but involved in a secret mission for the British, Kim struggles to weave the strands of his life into a single pattern. Charged with action and suspense, yet profoundly spiritual, Kim vividly expresses the sounds and smells, colors and characters, opulence and squalor of complex, contradictory India under British rule.
Was listed as one of Modern Reads Best 100 Novels, and is very good, will make you think and will make you want to go to India.
